Alrite this is it, after nearly a month i have found the time to finish this. Riivolution was a pain in the arse to get working for me at first, ive also noticed many others who never got it working. So i made my own patch heres the features…
SSb4 Riivolution Loader by ShadowSnake.

This is the future of file loading in brawl, and the permanent replacement for Gecko OS. The loader works like the brawl disc/Gecko, reading files in
the simplest of ways. This loader has the power to load 10 different brawl mod games, like Brawl+, Brawl-, ProjectM, and my upcoming project SSb4.
This patch has been tested and is so far 100% glitch free. i am rewriting BionicSonic’s because it couldnt load every file and was confusing to setup.
- – loads all files Gecko could
- – can load sound effect hacks
- – works with any SD/disc size (i use 32gb)
- – can load THP files (movies)
- – can have 10 different brawl mod games
- – glitch free
- – not confusing to setup
- – can load directly from the wii menu
- – from what i hear theres no file size limits

NOTES:
Riivolution runs the files like an iso, so u will have to rename some of the files with an _en at
the end. Common5_en.pac is the only file i tested with the CSS by using this patch, so use that
although other menu2 files will work. This is a version 1, but should be one of the last version
i have had no trouble with it. Also this will not work with snapshots, i suggest having both this and gecko.

Nice, but I’m having some trouble. I get some error with my Wii’s IOS or something, saying that it needs to be downgraded. I try, and it just can’t install.
Also, this doesn’t work with snapshots? D:

well u must use the css made by ASF1nk and put the gct in your SSB4 folder or brawlplus or whatever you used. make sure to use common5.pac rather than selcharacter. hope this helps.

Why my Rel. Files not work?
I have made a module folder…
Have I place it fail?
And there´s a little problem with css.
The Icons are very random replaced. The Icons overlaps other icons….
I don´t know why…
did you use my GCT? i know mine works, css files need to be in the common5.pac as well.
Now I have taken the normal CSS and it works but the special CSS will be crazy…
I think it doesn´nt read the GTC File and I do´nt know why….
Do you know why?
And how can I use Rel. Files???

I am also having issues with the .rel files for stage swapping (they normally go in the “pf\module” folder for Gecko).
I think the crashing/freezing depends on how badly the specific stage needs the edited .rel. Mine don’t freeze, but they don’t fully load (ie the stage is missing textures or has invisible platforms, but it definitely has changed).
They work with Gecko, and since I do see some changes they are loading with Riivolution, but it seems that it does not handle them properly at the moment. Maybe the XML configuration files need editing? I don’t know how to mess with them myself yet.

It always hangs after starting up the game, before it shows the strap warning thing, I did everything right and Riivolution just craps out and stops working.
My GeckoOS loads the game fine but Riivolution doesn't for some reason.
Please help!
does this ,or more percisly, sfx hacking, work with iso’s?
I’m having some trouble. The unrestricted pause camera isn’t working. Any ideas?
For the common5.pac should i use the extension _en? e.g. (common5_en.pac) otherwise the game doesn’t load the file.
